Tour Route: Yangon – Mandalay– Bagan – Inle - Yangon

day 1 (Yangon Arrival)

International Arrival at Yangon airport & transfer to your hotel for check-in and refreshment. Then in the afternoon, visit animated downtown area to study the hustle & bustle of Yangonand colonial buildings. Then to Shwedagon Pagoda,“masterpiece of Yangon” and one of the world’s most spectacular religious monuments, enjoy breathtaking views of the golden stupa and the city skyline from this vantage point.

Day 2 (Yangon- Mandalay- Sagaing – Ava- Amarapura - Mandalay)

Transfer to airport and take flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival, visit Maharmuni Buddha Image and gold-leaf workshop, sculptures & wood-carving and puppets workshop. Then, visit MahaGandayon monastery in order to learn monastic life of the Buddhist monks and proceed to Sagaing for lunch break. After lunch, enjoy a magnificent view from Pagoda Soon U Ponnya Shin over the surrounding area.
In the afternoon, transfer to Ava Jetty and take a ferry to across the Myit-Nge River for a visit to the former royal capital of Ava. Visit by horse cart, passing through paddy and vegetation fields,to Nanmyint Watch Tower, the remains of the palace building nicknamed “leaning tower of Ava”, Bargayar monastery, famous for its impression ornate woodcarvings and teak posts in typical Burmese form and MahaAungmye known as Mai-Nu Oat Kyaung
beautiful monastery built of brick and stucco.
Then, back to Amarapura to enjoy a stroll along U Pein Bridge, 200 year-old teak bridge and the fabulous views of the surrounding farms and streams. Return back to Mandalay.

day 3 ( Mandalay – Mingun– Mandalay)

After breakfast, an excursion by boat on the Ayeyarwaddy River will take you to Mingun about 11km up river from Mandalay (45min approximately). Visit one of the world largest bell, weighing 90 tons Mingun Bell, HsinbyumePaya and the uncompleted MingunPaya, built as one of the largest zedis by King Bodawpaya. Return by boat to Mandalay.
At the afternoon, visits with the Shwenandaw monastery (or Golden Palace monastery) a superb example of a tradition work, and Kuthodaw Pagoda, the world’s largest book, consisting of 729 marble slabs engraved with Buddhist scriptures. Proceed to Mandalay Hill for sunset viewing.

day 4 (Mandalay – Pagan)

Breakfast at Hotel.Early morning check-out from the hotel and transfer to jetty. Cruise to Bagan on the mighty Ayeyarwaddy river by private boat (or) public boat (8 hrs cruising). Enjoy cruising experience in River Irrawaddy by boat.
Picnic Lunch on board.
Small towns and villages pass by all along the way are remote from the modern world today and offer a glimpse of a timeless. Along the river, some fishermen collect their nets. We may see the ways of life in each village; women and children come to propose to us to drink or eat, or all kinds of things that testify magnificently to the originality of the local arts and crafts. Arrival in Bagan in late afternoon. Arrive and transfer to your hotel.
Enjoy a beautiful sunset at a temple of Pagan.

day 5 (Bagan Excursion)

After breakfast, visit the colorful market of NyaungOo to see how the Myanmar local people start their day.
Bagan “the mystic” extraordinary archeological site which do not have anything to envy that of Angkor with its 3000 temples and pilot pink brick stupas of the apogee of the Buddhist architecture of Myanmar. Starting a sightseeing tour with a diverse selection of the highlight religious edifices of Bagansuch as “Shwezigone Pagoda” the prototype of Burmese stupa, “Ananda Temple” the most beautiful and classical fine-arts of 11th century, “Gubyaukgyi Temple” with magnificent mural paintings of 12th century, and Htilominlo Temple - the largest temples of Bagan etc...
After lunch break, return to your hotel for a short rest in order to escape the extreme heat of the midday sun.
In the afternoon, visit to Ananda Temple, with its four huge standing- Buddha images and numerous seated figures that are arranged around the interior gallery and GuByaukGyi Temple ( under the protection of UNESCO), noted for its ancient mural paintings. Visitthe impressive lacquer ware workshop andMyinkabar village for “Manuhar” and “Nanphaya” temples. Then enjoy a beautiful sunset from “Shwesandaw” pagoda that gives you magnificent and unforgettable scenery.

day 6 (Bagan- Heho- Inle Lake)

After breakfast, leave for airport and fly to Heho.
Continue to NyaungShwe, the main entrance of the Lake, by car about 45 minutes. Inle Lake, famous for its nature and traditional leg-rowers and its traditional ways of fishing with a bow net while rowing with a leg, is the unique in the world.
Transfer to your hotel in Inle Lake for check-in and refreshment. Then explore the exquisite sights of Inle Lake by boat, visiting floating villages scattered along the lake and floating firms, traditional fishing, traditional art and crafts. Visit PhaungDawOo Pagoda, one of the most scared shrines in Myanmar,dating back to the 18th century and Ngephechaung monastery with its collection of Buddha Images.

day 7 (Inle Lake - Yangon)

After breakfast, starts your day with five-day market, held once in a village every five days, that gives you very colorful image with different tribes wearing traditional costume and you can also observe traditional stuff in the market. Then, continue the visit to Indein village for promenade along Indein Pagoda complex, standing over one thousand stupa on the hill side by passing Indein canal with scenic beauty. In the afternoon, visit to observe famous lotus-weaving in Inn Paw Khone village and other art & crafts workshops such as cigars, silversmith, ironsmith etc... in Nampam village.
In the afternoon, transfer to Heho airport to take flight back to Yangon.
On arrival, transfer to your hotel.

day 8(Yangon - Departure )

Morning breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Yangon International Airport for departure flight.
